How do I place an order?
Great you have found something you love and would like to purchase. Ordering is simple, you can place an order in any of the following ways:
- Anytime online at www.roomtogrow.co.uk. Simply find the product you want to purchase, click ‘ Add to basket’ and then follow the guided process to ‘Go to Checkout’ and fill out your billing details, the shipping details and proceed through to secure payment. You can pay via credit card, debit cards, American Express, Paypal, Paypal Express or pay later with Clearpay or Klarna.
Please check all dimensions and product details carefully before ordering to avoid any disappointment. If you have any questions, just call or email our product specialists who will be happy to help.

How do I find out more about a particular bed or product?
On each product page there is a box with Product Details, Size and Delivery & Assembly information. If we haven’t answered your question, email our friendly product specialists at hello@roomtogrow.co.uk, give them the product name and code and ask away!

What happens once I have placed my order?
Once we have received your order you will be sent an order confirmation by email immediately, this will show your unique order number, details of your items ordered, the price of each item and the total paid, the billing and delivery details and your contact details. It will contain details of an estimated delivery date. Where delivery dates are given, these are estimates and as third party carriers are used to ship items we cannot secure at the point of order any guaranteed dates.
Please check your order details carefully including mobile numbers and emails as these will be used by our delivery teams to contact you to book in delivery dates. Please let us know asap by email to orders@roomtogrow.co.uk if you require any changes to be made, in order to avoid any disappointment and unnecessary delays to your delivery.

Why haven’t I received my order confirmation email?
We are sorry you haven’t received your order confirmation into your inbox. Please check your junk and spam folders to make sure it hasn’t been filed incorrectly. If you still can’t find it, no problem we can send your confirmation again, just contact us at hello@roomtogrow.co.uk and make sure we have your correct email address.

How do I know when my delivery is coming?
We work in partnership with a number of manufacturers and it is not always possible for all your items to come together, however, where possible we will aim to work with our partners in fulfilment to time the deliveries as close together as possible. A guide to when you could expect your delivery will be shown on your order confirmation. Some delivery teams text to book in a date, some will call you directly on the contact number given. Details on the specific way a product will be delivered and how you will be contacted can be found on the individual product page. If you have any questions on this, please email orders@roomtogrow.co.uk and we can always look at the status of your order, give provisional dates where we can and get you the very latest up to date information.

Can I request a specific delivery date?
We understand everyone has busy lives and there will be some days that are just better than others to accept deliveries. Not a problem, just drop us an email or let us know which days are more suitable. We will then pass this information onto the delivery teams as this will aid them in the planning process. We are not able to guarantee any dates but any requests will always be passed on and we will always do our best to work to your requirements.

I am going to be on holiday or moving house, can I delay my delivery?
Yes, you can, we can keep an order on hold for up to 3 months for you. Just keep us informed about the delivery time you would like and we will do our best to accommodate this.

What happens if I don’t like my order when it arrives?
If you don’t like your order when it arrives, please email hello@roomtogrow.co.uk within 14 calendar days of your delivery, for a refund or exchange. Please ensure all items are unused. It is your responsibility to return the items to us in re-saleable condition or we can arrange a collection for you, however a charge will be made for this service. Check our Terms & Conditions.

What happens if my goods are faulty?
In the unlikely event that you have received an item which is faulty please email us immediately at hello@roomtogrow.co.uk and we will order replacement parts free of charge or collect the faulty items for a refund. Your statutory rights are not affected. For more information on faults and returns, please see our Terms and Conditions.

How do I change or cancel my order?
If you wish to amend your order please email orders@roomtogrow.co.uk. You may cancel your order, in writing, any time up to 14 calendar days after the day on which you receive the goods. Please email orders@roomtogrow.co.uk Any bed that is bespoke and made to order (i.e where the customer chooses a fabric and size for upholstered beds) or an item that is personalised with a name cannot be cancelled once the item is made as this is not covered under the consumer contract regulations. Please see our Terms & Conditions for further information. If you have received your order and wish to cancel please note you have a duty under the regulations to take reasonable care of items until they are returned to us at your cost.

Which Countries do you deliver to?
We currently only deliver to Mainland UK. If you are wanting to ship products to other countries, just email hello@roomtogrow.co.uk and let us know which freight company you use, their details and your account reference and we can discuss the best way to do this.

What is the difference between a standard bed and a continental bed?
A standard UK single bed takes a mattress size 90cm wide x 190cm long compared to a European / Continental single bed which requires a mattress of 90cm wide x 200cm long so just an extra 10cm longer. Each of our beds detail whether it needs a standard UK or Continental sized mattress. This doesn’t affect your duvet size but for your fitted sheet you will need a large single fitted sheet to make sure it can accommodate the extra length.

What do I do if I lose the assembly instructions?
No problem, many of our products have the assembly instructions available for download in the ‘Delivery & Assembly’ tab on the product page. If it is not available, please email our product specialists on hello@roomtogrow.co.uk and we will send the instructions by return email.

We live nearby, can we collect from you?
No, unfortunately not, we hold stock at multiple locations in the UK so nothing is held at head office. There are lots of desks, meeting rooms, product specialists but no products are held on site.

What is the difference between a UK size bed and a Continental size bed?
When we talk about a UK size bed, it means the bed takes a UK size mattress, so for a single bed that will be 90cm wide x 190cm long. We source beds from all over the world and many are Continental size, this means they require a continental mattress which for a single bed is 90cm wide x 200cm long. The only difference is the extra 10cm on the length. This is actually really handy for tall children as it gives them some extra space and growing room.

How long is a single bed?
For the length of a single bed, we usually refer to the length of mattress the bed requires. A standard single UK bed takes a mattress length of 190cm (6ft) whereas a Continental bed takes a mattress length of 200cm (6 ½ ft) .You will also have to take into account the size of the bed frame to get the true length of the bed when you are measuring space in your bedroom.

Do you have a showroom?
We don’t have a traditional bricks and mortar showroom, all our lovely beds, furniture and accessories are showcased online. We source our products from leading manufacturers across the globe to give the best choice and creative ideas to match any budget or dream for your child’s room. For some of our beds we can send out wood and fabric samples for you to check the colour and finish, if this is available you can see this on the individual product page or email our product specialists at hello@roomtogrow.co.uk for more advice.

I have seen you offer a price match, how does this work?
We do offer a price match. If you find exactly the same product on another website for cheaper, no problem. Email hello@roomgrow.co.uk, let us know the website address you have seen it on and we will investigate further. We will always do our best to price match, there may be some occasions where this is just not possible. More details on this can be found in our Our Price Match section.

Can you make a custom sized bed for me?
No, we don’t offer custom made beds at the moment. Please get in touch with our product specialists via hello@roomtogrow.co.uk who can talk through any alternatives for you.

What is the weight limit for a child’s bed?
All our cabin beds, midsleepers, high sleepers and bunk beds are weight tested to 80kg as they are designed for children. However, along with our low single and double beds it doesn’t mean adults, grandparents and guests can’t sleep in them too.

How long does it take to assemble a bed?
Now this really depends on your flat pack assembly skills. We recommend 2 people per build and on average with a competent assembler; single beds 30 mins – 1hr midsleeper / cabin bed 2-3 hours, highsleeper frame only 2 -3 hours bunk bed 2-3 hours and more complex beds with associated furniture 4 hours +. On some of our brands there is the option to add home assembly when you purchase the bed. There is a cost to do so but we believe it is well worth the investment.

How do I see the reviews about Room to Grow?
We love hearing from our customers and getting feedback on our service and products. You can see our most recent reviews by clicking the Reviews.io on the main home page and seeing the experience from previous customers. After you place an order with us, we will send you an invitation from Reviews.io and ask you to tell us how we did in terms of service and also your thoughts on the products you have purchased. We love to receive photos from our customers of their new furniture and we would love to share these on our site. As an independent retailer this really matters to us.

How do I get a discount code?
We do have discount codes from time to time and if you sign up to our DiscoverMe email club you will be the first to receive special offers.

I have found a discount code but it doesn’t work?
Some discount sites do state that we have codes available but quite often they are old, disabled codes that no longer work. If you are having trouble with a code, don’t despair just email hello@roomtogrow.co.uk and we can always check what codes are live at the moment or if we can offer you a special deal.

I want to place an order for multiple items, can I get a deal?
It is great that you have found lots of lovely items that you wish to purchase from us. Simply email hello@roomtogrow.co.uk if you want to discuss a package deal containing 2 or more beds or 4 or more pieces of furniture / accessories and we will be happy to discuss a special package deal for you.

How do I know your beds are safe?
All our beds are tested to European Safety Standards and comply with British Standards. The materials, fabrics and wood used are safe and non toxic and we are able to provide safety certificates to provide any reassurances required.

How do I know if my bed or furniture will fit in the room?
This is a very important step, before buying your furniture, please check any access to your room, any space needed for assembling the furniture and of course whether this will fit in the space you have chosen. On each product page we have a ‘Size’ tab, we recommend marking out the area with masking tape or cutting out newspaper to the footprint of the furniture and placing this on the floor so you can see how much space it will take up in the room. Don’t forget to check the height for low or slanted ceilings.

How do I look after my new bed?
Remember to care for your new bed. You should routinely, every 6 months, check your bed and tighten the screws around the bed frame and particularly the ladder if your bed has one. This is due to all the climbing, sitting, and general turning on the bed which can cause fixings to loosen over time. Having a good care routine will keep your bed in tip top condition.

Does the product come with a guarantee?
Yes, all our furniture comes with a 2 year manufacturer’s warranty which covers faulty or missing parts. Some products have extended warranties if you take out home assembly such as Stompa (5 year warranty) and some mattresses even have a 10 year warranty. Can you collect our old bed when you deliver our new one?
We are not able to collect old beds and furniture but we are delighted to work in partnership with the British Heart Foundation who will collect and then sell your furniture to raise money for the charity. A lovely way to recycle unwanted furniture. More details on this can be found on the Recycle Your Furniture section.
